PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring moisture in ore in ferronickel refining capable of improving the measurement accuracy of a moisture percentage in ore and reducing variation in measurement.SOLUTION: Upon measurement of the moisture percentage of dried ore obtained in a drying step in which raw material ore is dried using a rotary kiln in ferronickel refining, the dried ore obtained from the rotary kiln is sieved with a sieve having an opening of 30 to 70 mm, and, with the dried ore under the sieve obtained by the sieving as the object, a moisture percentage is obtained using a non-contact type moisture measuring instrument. |
