PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting apparatus which can transport a medium to be transported without any trouble even when radius of curvature of a curved transporting passage is reduced.SOLUTION: A transporting apparatus 30 comprises: a pair of transporting rollers 37 for transporting a medium 19 to be transported; a first transporting path 41 having a curved part 41A; a printer casing 11 in which an opening 11A for exposing the first transporting path 41 outside is formed in a rear wall; and a movable member 50 movable between first posture for closing the opening 11A and second posture for opening the opening 11A. The movable member 50 integrally comprises: a base part 51; a guide rib 52 for guiding the medium 19 to be transported to a nip position of the pair of transporting rollers 37 in the first posture; and an engagement part which is hooked to a shaft 37C of a drive roller 37A of the pair of transporting rollers 37 in the first posture. A cutout 53 to which the shaft 37C in the first posture is fitted is formed in the guide rib 52. |
