A device and method for exhausting and sealing a display panel is provided to simplify the equipment and process by performing an exhaust and sealing process in one chamber. An upper chamber(210) is movably installed in a frame(200) to heat an upper board of a flat display device. A lower chamber(220) is installed on a lower portion of the upper chamber to load and heat a lower board. An aligning member is installed on the upper chamber to align positions of the upper and lower boards located in the upper and lower chambers. A sealing heating member is installed in the lower chamber to seal the upper and lower boards. A pressing member is moved up and down from an upper end of the frame to the upper chamber to press the upper board. A controller(300) is installed on one side of the frame.
