A casing for a semiconductor rectifier consists of a ceramic tube 2 mounted on a metallic member 1, with a funnel-shaped ring 6 soldered to the inner wall of the tube and terminating in an annular part 66 which rests on a semi-conductor element 7; a further ring 4 supports a connection bolt 5 which is electrically connected to the element 7 through a flexible annular copper flex 8. The control electrode of the semi-conductor element is provided with a lead 9 which passes through a drilling in the bolt 5. The tube 2 may be of aluminium oxide. |
