<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Z-type or Y-type hexagonal ferrite in which the occurrence of a white product material on the surface of a sintered compact is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The ferrite sintered compact mainly comprises the Z-type or Y-type hexagonal ferrite consisting essentially of Ba, Co and Fe and contains ≤0.08 wt.% Na, The composition of the ferrite sintered compact is richer in Ba and poorer in Co than the stoichiometric composition of the hexagonal ferrite being the main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
