<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intend to enhance starting performance in low temperatures in particular while obtaining a stable power generating voltage with a simple structure, by surely preventing water from staying in a reacting gas communicating hole. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell stack 10 is equipped with a laminate 14 in which a plurality of fuel cells 12 are laminated, and an inside manifold is formed by penetrating through the laminate 4 in the laminating direction. One end side of an oxidizer gas exit communicating hole 36b in the laminated direction is opened to the first end plate 20b side, and the other end side of the oxidizer gas exit communicating hole 36b in the laminated direction is blocked on the second end plate 20b side.
