<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus capable of consuming toner during printing of continuous paper. <P>SOLUTION: Dot patterns are printed in both end parts 76A of the continuous paper P to allow the toner to be consumed during printing. Therefore, the reduction of work efficiency due to toner consumption doesn't occur. Since patterns are printed in cut parts of the continuous paper P, namely, both end parts 76A of the carrier continuous paper P to consume the toner, the toner is not stuck to a carrying means like a carrying roller for carrying the continuous paper P, so that the problem that the toner stuck to the carrying means is released from the carrying means and is scattered to make a printer inside dirty will not occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
