<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for managing consumable articles of a printer enabling a user to easily search a purchase method of a consumable article, in the detection of an abnormality by the residual shortage of the consumable article of the printer, and rapidly purchase it. <P>SOLUTION: A purchase guide button for consumable articles of the printer is added to the error/alarm screen of a user PC, and on receipt of an abnormal signal from the printer, the abnormality content by kinds is displayed. When the abnormal signal shows the residual quantity deficiency of the consumable article, the purchase guide button in the screen is depressed by the user, whereby a homepage for consumable article purchase guide is automatically accessed to, and the latest information of the consumable article deficient in residual quantity and a purchase application button are displayed. When the purchase application button is pressed by the user, a purchase screen of consumable articles is presented.
