Homogeneous large polyamide pipes for oil and gas are centrifugally cast by feeding caprolactam and catalyst simultaneously and evenly over the whole length of the centrifuge. This is done by two cylindrical drive-in tanks connected to the raw materials, which enter the centrifuge from opposite ends and are tiltable towards one another by a hydraulic cylinder. The centrifuge can also be suspended or located in a pit with overhead dispensers. |
