A digging machine comprises three digging units 8 as set out in Specification 885,938 which are mounted on a tractor vehicle 2 by means of arms 6 which are pivoted on a frame 5 and also pivoted on the units 8 the arms 6 being raised and lowered by hydraulic rams. The drive from the tractor motor is taken to a chain reduction gear 20 and thence to the units 8 by means of universal couplings. |
