Fancy textile prints of batik-type patterns on cellulosic fibres (without register alignment) are produced by treating the goods with alkali and an azo-coupling component, and drying. They are then printed with one or more colours, each of which contains a reactive dyestuff, an aromatic diazonium salt, and an alkali-absorbing resist material of relative solubility. The goods are then dried and developed in the ususal way. |
