Ribbed heat exchanger pipe construction

Pipe rib is attached to the profile of the pipe. Openings in the ribs are enlarged with small toothed or dove tailed gaps. The metal cast on each side of each rib surrounds the pipe wall in the form of a mantle. The ribs are embedded in the cast metal along the pipe circumference and the gaps are filled with metal.
