The tennis racquet grip has a sealable hollow; internal ribs; and a cooling cartridge within the hollow. The hollow (4) has a lining (7) of heat-conducting material, e.g. copper. The lining is connected to the ribs (8), and the cooling cartridge contacts it. The grip body (3a) is made of timber with internal ribs, the other rib ends having heat exchanger areas (9) in the grip surface. All sections may be integral. The cooling cartridge is conical, and loaded in the direction of the tip and sealed by a cover (6) at the grip end, via an intermediate spring (11). |
