COIL SUPPORTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A coil supporting apparatus is provided to pile coils loaded in multistage more safely by automatically adjusting supporting angle of the coils using pneumatic pressure generated by load of the coils. CONSTITUTION: The coil supporting apparatus comprises coil supporting members (110) on which an inclined surface (111) is formed in such a way that the inclined surface is slanted from the outside to the inside of the coil supporting members (110), and the coil supporting members (110) are oppositely directed to each other with spaced apart from each other in a certain distance, and on the inclined surface of which coil is rested; a pressing plate (120) installed between the coil supporting members (110) and pressed by the coil to generate pneumatic pressure; pneumatic cylinders (130) for reciprocating rod of the cylinders by receiving pneumatic pressure provided by the pressing plate (120); and a stopper (140) which is positioned in a guiding groove (111a) formed on the inclined surface (111) and narrowed or widened to support the lower part of the coil as the stopper (140) is being moved along the guiding groove (111a) by the rod.
