PURPOSE: An apparatus for recovering back flown mud material of mud gun generated when closing tap hole is provided to extend life cycle of facility and reduce work load due to manual working by guiding the mud material flown backward when charging cylinder body is moved back and forth to outlet so that the mud material is recovered. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a mud material guiding and discharging part (100) comprising a spiral guiding rod (11) adhered to the outer circumferential surface of a charging cylinder body (4-4) of the mud gun in a spiral shape, and a rotation drum on the central part of which a guiding groove (31) is formed in such a way that the guiding groove (31) touches the guiding rod (11), and on the outer circumferential surface of which a brush (60) is formed so that the mud material guiding and discharging part (100) is rotationally fixed to both sides of the lower part of the body (4) of the mud gun; a mud material collecting part (110) comprising a collecting hood (70) fixed to a mud material outlet (4-5) formed at the body (4) of the mud gun at which the rotation drum of the mud material guiding and discharging part (100) is installed, and collecting electronic valves (72,72-1) and a suction fan (80) connected to a suction line (71) to suck in mud material discharged from the collecting hood (70); and a control part (90) for operating back and forth moving electronic valves (8,9) of driving cylinder for operating the charging cylinder body (4-4), and the collecting electronic valves (72,72-1) and a suction fan (80) of the mud material collecting part (110).
