[Also in Divisions C3 and H1] A thermosetting wire-coating lacquer is prepared from a polyesteramide containing 5- membered imide rings, cresol, naphtha, xylene and polymeric butyl titanate. The lacquer is applied in 6 layers to a copper wire using roller and felt in a horizontal wire-laquering oven 3 metres long at a temperature of from 410-450‹C at the rate of 9 to 13 metres per minute.</p> |
