PURPOSE: An installation structure of an internal antenna in a portable terminal is provided to make a small and thin terminal by forming a projection part on an upper end of a body and vertically installing the internal antenna inside the protruded part. CONSTITUTION: A folder(103) capable of being opened and closed is coupled to an upper side of a body(101), in which a plurality of keypads for inputting information are formed, through a hinge(102). An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) for displaying each kind of information is arranged at an inner side of the folder(103). A removable battery(105) for charging and discharging is coupled at the rear of the body(101). A projection part(106) arranged at an upper side of the body(101) projects a certain part of a case(101a) upward. And a ground(107) and an antenna(108) are vertically arranged at an inner side of the projected case(101a).
