Orthopaedic inlay for flat feet is pref. of acrylate or acetate copolymer, and consists of a piece reaching forward from the heel under the ball of the foot. The intermediate region is curved convex-upward when unloaded and a region lying under the metatarsal has a convex upper surface and has slots in the floor surface with perforations reaching to the upper surface for ventilation.
