PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel nucleic acid molecule and polypeptide relating to the disorder accompanied by angiogenesis, and a method of identifying the compound for the diagnosis and therapy of the disorder accompanied by angiogenesis. SOLUTION: The objective novel nucleic acid molecule includes a nucleotide sequence encoding canine angiostatin. The novel polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence of canine angiostatin.
