A mould for expanded plastics, esp. polystyrene, which opens/closes by sliding and has one or more smooth outer surfaces, is fitted with a dividing plate movable within the mould. The plate pref. moves by sliding in the parting plane of the mould, and is perforated by small openings, which form communicating passages between the chambers on either side of the dividing plate. |
