PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which shows superb recording sensitivity and resistance to texture blushing under high temperature and further, the outstanding stability of a recorded image. SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording medium having a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, a coloring agent and a sensitizer formed on a support, at least one kind selected from a 2,4-bis(4-methylphenyl sulfonyl) phenol and a 2,4-bis(phenylsulfonyl)-5-methylphenol is used as the coloring agent. Also at least one kind selected from a benzotriazole compound such as a 2-(2'- hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl) benzotriazole and a dibenzyl oxalate compound such as a di-p-chlorobenzyl oxalate, with a melt point of 100 to 160 deg.C, is used as the sensitizer for the purpose of realizing one means to solve the described considerations. |
