Title cmpds. and their salts of formula I, where R1 = H or (1-3C) alkyl, R2 = H or (1-4C) alkyl, and rings A and B are opt. substd. by (1-6C) alkyl, (1-6C) O-alkyl, CF3, NO2, F, Cl, or Br are prepd. from o-amino-benzophenones by (a) diazotizing, (b) coupling with an opt. subst. halo- or aminoacetamido malonate, (c) cyclizing in the presence of alkali to the substd., 2-(1-triazol)-benzophenone). and (d) cyclizing the latter with NH3 or (CH2)6N4 and (opt.)
