<p>1365056 Polyvinylidene fluoride and polyamide composition SOLVAY & CIE 17 Jan 1973 [18 Jan 1972] 2465/73 Headings C3R and C3P A composition comprises polyvinylidene fluoride and 30-55% wt. of a polyamide derived from terephthalic acid and a branched aliphatic diamine, having a C 6 main chain, e.g. various methyl-, trimethyl- and methylethylhexamethylenediamines. Also present may be # 40% wt. of a pigment, e.g. TiO 2 , based on the polymer mixture. It is stated that similar compositions employing polyamides 6 and 11 have been prepared, but the constituents are incompatible. Contrasting examples describe compositions comprising respectively 80% and 20% of polyvinylidene fluoride and 20% and 80% branded aliphatic diamine with C 6 main chain. Use.-Pipes.</p> |
