<p>A plastic filtration system for use with plastic extrusion machines is described. The filtration system comprises a pair of diverter spool valves incorporating special spool slots, ports, seals and seats for high pressure, high temperature applications, a pair of parallel filters in housings which permit easy removal and cleaning, and means for synchronously operating the diverter valves to prevent rapid changes in pressure drop through the system.</p> |
