<p>Article of clothing acting as a compress for any part of the body consists of film material which is impermeable to air and moisture, with a lining of textile or textile-like material and with elasticated edges at the openings for arms, legs, head, neck, waistband, etc. Pref. the lining is connected to the film material, e.g. by stitching only at the openings and optionally at the longitudinal seams, and may be connected to the film material together with the elasticated edge by a common seam. In the case of a one piece suit or combination of bodice and trousers, an elasticated tape may be provided in the waist region. In the case of a mask, one elasticated tape is provided at the peripheral edge, two extending around the nape or the back of the head, and one extending from the upper edge of the maks and joined to the upper one of the two rear transverse tapes.</p> |
