<p>The shallow 'U' section load-bearing roofing pane is of sheet metal, placed side by side with vertical flanges (9, interlocking. The pan can form opaque insulated or natural lighting panels, the top edges of the flanges bent square (80, 83) to form a seat for cladding sheets (7a, 7b). The bends of the respective flanges return in the same direction and one terminates in a downturned hook (82). The interlocking flanges of adjacent panels are fixed to the joist by a 'z' section clip (90). The body of the clip houses in a recess (87, 88) in the underside of one pan.</p> |
