<p>The numeric data converter receives duodecimal input through a bus line (3) and transfers it to an input data register (1) which receives also a signal input (17) and a control input (16) from the control unit (12). The output from the input data register by a converter (4). The latter feeds a buffer register (10) and this uses the cascade counting system to return on feedback signal (11) to the input register. In response to the control signals, a dual output count signal (5) enters the output register (7), the timing of which is regulated by the third output (15, 8) of the control unit (2). The final signal is transferred to the output data bus line (8). A similar method may be used for 6 x duo-decimal counting (n = 24).</p> |
