PURPOSE: A yarn sheet winder is provided to accurately control the tension of a yarn sheet during winding operation and to facilitate winding tension control. CONSTITUTION: In this yarn sheet winder, a tension adjusting roller(5) for the yarn sheet(1) is movably provided between a feed roller(4) and a winding beam(6) so as to be separable from the feed roller(4) and to be pressed to the yarn sheet in a tension applying direction by an actuator(7). When winding is stopped, the yarn sheet(1) can be held between the feed roller(4) and the tension adjusting roller(5), and during winding operation, the tension adjusting roller(5) is separated from the feed roller(4), and while applying tension by the actuator(7), the winding tension of the yarn sheet(1) is controlled by a winding tension control device. The winding tension control device is provided with an actuator control means for controlling the pressing force of the tension adjusting roller(5) to the yarn sheet(1), and a position control means for maintaining the tension adjusting roller(5) in a reference position by controlling the rotating speed of at least one of the feed roller(4) and winding beam(6).
