PURPOSE: A vehicle engine thermostat is provided to prevent the valve stick of thermostat by mounting at least one O-ring on an upper end surface of a guide where a piston slides and prevent the overheating or overcooling, thereby improving the durability of the thermostat. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle engine thermostat includes a case(31) receiving wax(W), a guide mounted on the case for supporting a pressure when the wax is expanded, a piston(33) mounted to the guide to lift, an O-ring mounted between the guide and the piston for preventing the introduction of impurities, and a diaphragm(38) mounted at an upper end part of the case for sealing the wax.
