<p>The compressed gas pump for a liquid in a well, comprises a rigid cylindrical body (4) of dia. less than the hole, with two elastically deformable chambers (4a, 4b) in the body. Compressed fluid is periodically sent into the deformable chambers and released. The pump includes a distributor (23) with two outlets. One outlet is connected to one of the chambers and the other is connected to the other. They connect the chambers alternately and periodically, one into communication with a source of compressed gas, and the other with the atmosphere. The body is divided into two half-bodies in line by two transverse partitions (5, 6) which form a central intermediate space (7) between them. This space is divided into two separated compartments by a partition. The deformable chambers are pref. constituted by flexible cylindrical sleeves placed around an axial tube and fixed to the tube at their ends. The tube contains two compressed gas pipes each connected to one of the outlets of the compressed gas distributor and opening into the space between the tube and the sleeves. The distributor is e.g. a bistable sliding-valve distributor.</p> |
