PURPOSE:To prevent a top type rotor from head shaking in a heading suppressor suitably used for a top type rotary machine or the like rotating with high speed by supporting the upper portion of the rotor with a contact type bearing in low speed rotation of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A top type rotor 1 is rotated with high speed by cooperation of a motor rotor 3 and a motor stator 12. A disk 6 on an upper rotary shaft 5 is journaled magnetically by a magnetic bearing 15, and a vibration suppressor 17 is constituted from a braking rod 18, a solenoid 19 and a spring 20 and mounted on an upper lid 9 of a casing 7. By magnetizing the solenoid 19 when speed of the rotor 1 becomes smaller than a set value, the controlling rod 18 is displaced downward against the spring 20 to insert a pivot 21 at the lower end of the rod 18 into a pivot receiver 26 provided in the upper portion of the rotor 1. Thus, head shaking of the rotor 1 in the low speed rotation can be prevented. |
