PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with high productivity and high reliability and a method of manufacturing it by preventing the adhesion of an adhesive to a winding core. SOLUTION: A first electrode interposed between separators having insulating properties and retaining an electrolyte and a second electrode retaining the electrolyte and interposed between adhesive layers are wound, and the adhesive layers are not formed in the bent part in the central part of winding for joining the separators between which the first electrode is interposed and the second electrode through the adhesive layers between which the second electrode is interposed.
