PURPOSE:To form a flexographic photosensitive resin composition superior in strength, resilient elasticity, elastic restoration force, and resistance to printing, and capable of being developed with an aqueous solvent, by using an aqueous polyester-ether resin as a base. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble polyester-ether used for this invention consists of (A) a polyether component made of 400-5,000mol.wt. polyalkylene glycol, (B) a polyester component prepared from polybasic acid, e.g. isophthalic acid, and polyol, e.g. ethylene glycol, and (C) a bifunctional monomer having -SO3M (M being H or metallic ion) combined with an aromatic ring, e.g. dimenthyl 5- sulfoisophthalate. (i) Said water-soluble polyester-ether, (ii) a photopolymerizable monomer or prepolymer, e.g. acrylic acid, (iii) a photoinitiator, e.g. benzoin, and (iv) a thermopolymerization inhibitor, e.g. hydroquinone, are incorporated. |
