PURPOSE:To form a liquid crystal display panel having stationary display parts of excellent visibility and a uniform spacing between electrode substrates by inserting sheets of the same thickness as that of liquid crystal layers printed thereon with characters, patterns, etc. in part of the liquid crystal layers. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal display panel formed by sandwiching liquid crystal layers 4 between a pair of electrode substrates 1 and 1 provided with electrodes 2 and sealing the circumferential part with a sealant 3, sheets 5 provided with desired printing layers 6 and having the same thickness as that of the layers 4 are disposed in part of the layers 4, whereby stationary display parts are provided.
