The invention relates to a device for folding the front and rear web of a blank conveyed via a transport section. Front and rear folding tools, which project from a position below the transporting level, are provided for folding over. The folding tools initiate the folding process in conjunction with stationary holding-down devices, whereas the holding-down devices terminate the folding process. Owing to the special shapes of the folding tools and the adjustability of the effective lever arm length, both short and long webs can be gently folded using the same folding tools. <IMAGE> |
