PURPOSE:To permit to set a timer for a short time and a long time by a method wherein a heating time setting mechanism, consisting of a cam, a lever and a switch, is provided to conduct an electric power continuously when heating is effected for a short time with a high output while an electric source is intermittently cut and connected when the heating is effected for a long time with the low output. CONSTITUTION:When the operating angle of the timer 10 for the cooking in a high frequency wave heating device is determined so as to be 300 deg. in the full scale thereof, the timer advances the angle of 10 deg. per 1min in the range from the angle of 0 deg. to the same of 200 deg. while it advances the angle of 1 deg. per minutes within the range from 200 deg. to 300 deg.. The electric source of a timer motor is connected continuously within the range from 0 deg. to 200 deg. while the connection is effected intermittently within the range from 200 deg. to 300 deg. by one set of timer. When a tap is turned to set a timing, the switch 17 is put ON or OFF by the cam 16 and the lever 19, attached to a timer shaft 15. when the switch 17 is conducted to (a) side, the timer is being put ON continuously, and when the switch 17 is conducted to (b) side, the timer 14 is connected intermittently by the intermittent connection of the switch 21 which is connected intermittently by the rotation of the fan motor 20. |
