PURPOSE:To automate an inserting work of a heat transmitting tube and to execute it efficiently with high reliability by moving a guide support for a vertical line in the left and right directions, or moving a tube feed base in the upper and lower directions, by a detecting signal of a detector. CONSTITUTION:When a heat transmitting tube 18 inserted into a guide tube 64 comes to a prescribed position, a primary inserting roller 58 is rotated by a signal from a detector, and the heat transmitting tube 18 advances toward a tube plate. When the heat transmitting tube 18 comes to a prescribed position, a secondary inserting roller 68 is rotated, the heat transmitting tube 18 is inserted into a tube hole of the tube plate, and also inserted into the other tube plate of a heat exchanger. When the heat transmitting tube 18 passes through a secondary inserting roller 60, a thrusting air cylinder 70 operates, presses the rear end of the heat transmitting tube 18, and the inserting work of the heat transmitting tube 18 is ended. A detector 68 detects a distance to an adjacent tube hole, and a guide support 34 for a vertical line or a tube feed base 52 is moved by a pitch portion of the next tube hole to be inserted. |
