PURPOSE:To obtain plural displays on the screen of a monitor TV at the same time and to change display means easily by superposing information on a panhead on the screen of the monitor TV. CONSTITUTION:A panhead controller 3 which controls the operation of the panhead system consisting of a TV camera 1 and the panhead 2 codes a selected shot number stored previously in the shot memory of the controller 3, and the code is latched 4. On the other hand, a vertical synchronizing signal 5b separated by a synchronizing signal separating device 5 is sent to a character generator 8 through a counter 6 together with the output of the circuit 4 to send a character dot pattern to a shift register 10. This register 10 receives a signal which determines the vertical and horizontal dimensions of a character dot and outputs the character dot to an analog adding device 11. The device 11 adds a synthesized video signal from the camera 1 to the input signal to display the character of the selected shot number over a picture on the monitor TV12. |
