ABSORBENT SUPPLY METHOD IN EXHAUST GAS TREATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To simplify an apparatus by omitting an absorbent control equipment, by supplying an absorbent to an absorbing liquid storage tank by an air current while dispersing the air current into the liquid in the liquid storage tank to utilize the same in aeration stiring oxidation. CONSTITUTION:An absorbent 14 is suplied to an air current feed pipe 18 and conveyed by the air current from a blower 16. A recirculated slurry is guided to an air-liquid mixer 11 from midway of the emitting side piping of an absorbent recirculating pump 8 through an arranged pipe 9 to be recirculated to an aeration stirring insert pipe 12 and the airborne absorbent 14 and the air current are supplied below a stirring blade 7. The air used in aeration stirring within an absorbing liquid storage tank 4 is escaped into a tower main body 3 from an air escape piping arrangement 19. The exhaust gas from an inlet 1 is washed with the sprayed absorbing liquid and thereafter exhausted from an outlet as clean gas. A part of the absorbing liquid 5 oxidized in the absorbing liquid storage tank 4 by aeration stirring is withdrawn out of the system to be recovered as by-product gypsum.
