PURPOSE:To make easy operation along an optimum operational line and make it possible to carry out such operation without necessitating any skill, by connecting a frictional continuously variable transmission with an output shaft of an engine, and connecting a servo unit with a speed change ring of the frictional continuously variable transmission. CONSTITUTION:An output shaft 28 of an engine 20 is connected with a frictional continuously variable transmission 21, and a servo unit 32 of a control system consisting of a speed setting device 22, speed sensor 23 for detecting a rotational speed of the engine, comparator 24 and the servo unit 32 is connected with a speed change ring 7 of the frictional continuously variable transmission 21. With this arrangement, as the frictional continuously variable transmission 21 contains a zero point of a rotational speed of the output shaft 28 in a speed change range, the engine may be started under such a condition where the frictional continuously variable transmission 21 is directly connected to the engine 20. Accordingly, operation along an optimum operational line may be easily carried out without necessitating any skill. |
