PURPOSE:To increase bonding ability of a coated material and a core metal by spreading slurry on a core metal and drying, then again spreading dense slurry on its both sides and drying and sintering it. CONSTITUTION:Slurry 1' having high density prepared by mixing metal powder for sintering and 2-5% aqueous solution of organic binder at a ratio of about 1:1 is thinly spreaded on a core metal 2' comprising perforrated metal plate, and dried. The slurry 1' having low density and viscosity is again spreaded on the dried core metal. The slurry 1' penetrates to the surface of the core metal 2', and fine cracks produced in drying process are filled with the slurry 1'. The coated core metal is dried with an infrared lamp, and heated in an atmosphere of reducing gas at about 900 deg.C for 10min to form a substrate. By this process, bonding ability of coated material with the core metal is increased. |
