The device has an expander wedge unit clamped in the tubular end of one rod (2), and connected to the second rod (1) via a connector part (4). The wedge unit has an expander mandrel (5) and an expander sleeve (6), both with oval contours. The wedge surfaces formed in the contour summits are generally not smaller than the positive contact faces on a jacket surface of the expander sleeve. Wedge surfaces and positive contact faces have approximately the same curvature. Mirror-symmetrical breaking points (15.1,15.2) are formed in the sleeve jacket surface by longitudinal slots and webs. |
