摘要 PURPOSE:To protect resin impregnated long fibers from being pressed by a guide jig strongly and prevent the squeezing-out of resin or fluffing of the long fibers by a method wherein a tension, applied on the long fibers, is loosened temporarily by following the movement of a guide jig upon winding them from the guide jig of a winding machine to the mold jig. CONSTITUTION:Long fibers are pulled out of a bobbin 11 and are guided to a guide jig 1 through an impregnating device 13, a tensioner 18 and a guide jig 15 while one end of the long fibers is secured to the mold jig. Thereafter, a controller 17 is started, then, a robot 16 is driven, the resin impregnated long fibers 8 are wound sequentially around the mold jig 1 and, finally, the core member W of a steering wheel, which is provided with a predetermined configuration, is completed. A feeding device 20, capable of applying feeding drive on the resin impregnated long fibers 8, is arranged. In case the guide jig 15 moves from the branching part of the resin impregnated long fibers 8 or a notched groove 7 toward a boss fitting 5, a motor 24 and a cylinder 25 are operated by the command of the controller 17 and a feeding force is applied on the resin impregnated fibers 8, as a result, an excessive tension will never be applied on the resin impregnated long fibers 8.
