PURPOSE:To make a housing in small size by fitting a mirror-plate in an opening of a mirror housing in solid construction, and tilting them as in a single piece in the vertical and horizontal directions. CONSTITUTION:A mirror horizontal rotating means 12 is installed in a back- mirror body support 10 of a base member 3 including the body installation part 3A, and a rotary shaft column 23 is rotated by rotating a drive motor 14 for said rotating means 12 through a deceleration mechanism 15, and a case 26 is tilted horizontally through a clutch mechanism 24. A vertical rotating mechanism 40 is installed in the accommodation part 28 of said case 26, and a mirror housing 6 is tilted by advancing/retracting in the axial direction of a rod 48. The mirror housing 6 is supported by a hinge provided at the tip of said rod 48 and the case 26, and a mirror-plate 60 is fitted in an opening with approx. rectangular facade of the mirror housing 6 so as to accomplish consolidation. |
