摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the continuous and quick implementation of the measurement of numerous samples, by a method wherein a reference calibration value once detected is memorized and used to permit continuous execution of measurement of urine sugar while a calibration processing is performed only when necessary. CONSTITUTION:For example, when urine sugar is measured continuously from a number of persons, at a first state, a blank value of a first person to be measured as detected by a test paper reading means is memories as test paper calibration value. At a second state, a urine sugar value of the first person being measured is determined and the results are displayed. At this point, a display performs a sample measurement display and a test paper calibration processing display alternately and repeatedly. When reconstruction if judged as necessary, recalibration is performed with a key for assigning a calibration processing while a test paper calibration processing display is continued, and then operation shifts to the measurement of a sample of the subsequent person to be measured. When no recalibration processing is judged as unnecessary, operation shifts to the measurement of a sample at the second state by the operation of the key while the sample measurement processing display is continued. This enables the use of the calibration value of the first person being measured to measure a sample of the subsequent person being measured, thereby eliminating time and labor for the test paper calibration.
