OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND PRODUCTION THEREOF AS WELL AS CARD HAVING OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To rapidly form optical reflecting surfaces which function as pits for preformatting with high accuracy by laminating the optical reflecting films consisting of a material having high optical reflectivity to reading light and optical recording films consisting of a material which can be bored by writing light. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording card 10 is constituted by adhering the optical recording medium 1 between a card front base material 12a and a card rear base material 12b by an adhesive agent layer 11. A magnetic tape 8 is adhered and disposed at need to the surface of the card 10. The optical recording medium 1 has preforming pits 5, data pits 5a, writing tracks 5b and guides 5c. The data pits 5a are put into the written state by projecting laser light to the recording medium 1 to melt the optical recording films 4 and to expose the optical reflecting films 3 of the tracks 5b. The data is read out by the difference between the reflectivity of the writing tracks 5b and the reflectivity of the data pits 5a.
