PURPOSE:To impart the degree of freedom to the array of functional blocks, to reduce a wasteful region and to minimize a chip area by forming connecting sections in width wider than terminals on wirings along adjacent sides in the terminals or the wirings in the functional block to the sections of the sides. CONSTITUTION:In a large-scale integrated circuit having a plurality of functional blocks 2 arrayed while specified sides are brought into contact mutually and terminals or wirings 3 in the blocks connecting these adjacent functional blocks, connecting sections 31 in width wider than said terminals or wirings 3 are shaped along adjacent sides in the terminals or wirings 3 in said blocks 2 to the sections of the sides, and the terminals or wirings 3 in the blocks 2 can be connected even when sections among the adjacent functional blocks 2 are displaced along the adjacent sides. Accordingly, the degree of freedom of the array of the functional blocks 2 can be improved, thus reducing wasteful regions among the rows of the functional blocks 2 when a plurality of the rows of the functional blocks 2 are arranged and connected by wirings 4 among the blocks, then diminishing a chip area. |
