PURPOSE:To obtain a central nervous depressant, containing mannan as an active ingredient and having extremely powerful analgesic action and excellent persistence thereof. CONSTITUTION:A central nervous depressant prepared by blending mannan extracted from baker's yeast as an active ingredient with a phamaceutically acceptable liquid or solid carrier. The effective dose of the mannan for an adult per day is within the range of 10-1,000mg/kg, preferably 100-500mg/kg. |
