PURPOSE:To perform proper and reasonable inspection by evaluating the density of a pattern by a basic color itself which comprises the pattern, and displaying it by each original color signal of a color camera. CONSTITUTION:The reference density of each original color signal of the basic color which comprises a basic pattern based on basic color reflectance is found. And inspection is performed by comparing each reference density with the density of each original color signal of each basic color which comprises the pattern to be inspected. For example, when density difference between the pattern to be inspected and a reference pattern in each basic color and each original color signal is less than a prescribed allowable value, respectively, it is judged as adequate, and when either of the density difference exceeds the prescribed allowable value, it is judged as inadequate. In such a way, it is possible to perform accurate inspection reasonably. |
