<p>A binder suitable for non-woven fibres or fabrics is prepared comprising a starch polymer graft, starch and a starch crosslinking agent. An acrylamide copolymer may optionally be included. The binder is useful for non-woven fibres such as a polyester fibre mat, and particularly single ply, bitumin roofing materials.</p> |
